Editorial Policy

Welcare Overseas Education is a study-abroad and international-career consultancy based at GNK Plaza, JP Nagar, Bengaluru, founded by Dr. Naresh Bhati. Students, parents, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals use our guides to make expensive, life-changing decisions. This page explains how those guides are written, checked and corrected.

Who writes our content

Guides are researched and written by the Welcare Overseas team, the same counsellors who advise students and professionals on Germany and Europe every day. Questions we hear repeatedly in counselling sessions, such as recognition, German language levels, visas, costs and salaries, decide what we write about.

Where our facts come from

For anything that is regulated or changes over time, we check primary and official sources first, then cite them at the end of the guide:

• German federal law, published at gesetze-im-internet.de: for example the Residence Act (AufenthG), the Federal Medical Code (BÄO), the Nursing Professions Act (PflBG) and the Physiotherapists Act (MPhG)
• Official federal portals: Anerkennung in Deutschland (BIBB), Make it in Germany, the Federal Foreign Office and German Missions in India
• State authorities that decide recognition applications (for example the service portals of Hamburg, Berlin, Bremen and Baden-Württemberg)
• DAAD, universities and uni-assist for admissions and study information
• Published collective pay agreements (for example TV-Ärzte/VKA, TVöD) for salary figures

We do not copy other consultancies’ figures. Where an official source gives no exact number, for example fees that differ from state to state, we say so and give a range rather than inventing a precise figure.

Dates and reviews

Guides that have been checked against current sources show a “Last reviewed” date at the top. We review our most-read guides on visas, recognition, salaries and costs at least once a year, and sooner when a law or pay table changes.

What we will not publish

• Guarantees of admission, recognition, visas or jobs. These decisions are made by universities, German authorities and employers, not by us.
• Invented statistics, success rates or testimonials
• Claims of partnerships or official status that we cannot document

Our commercial interest

Welcare Overseas earns its income from counselling and programme fees. Our guides link to our own programmes where they are relevant, and we say so plainly. The information in the guides is meant to be useful whether or not you use our services.

Corrections

If you find an error or outdated information, please email info@welcareoverseas.com with the page link. We check every report and correct confirmed mistakes promptly, updating the review date.
